| Broiled
Steaks With Herb. Cheese Potatoes |
Time: Preparation time: 5
minutes Cooking time: 17 to 22 minutes |
Ingredients: 4 frozen beef
tenderloin steaks, cut 1 inch thick (approx. 4 ounces each) 2 baking
potatoes, cut into 6 lengthwise wedges each 1 tablespoon olive oil 1
teaspoon dried basil leaves, crushed I tablespoon grated Parmesan
cheese ¼ teaspoon pepper Salt, if desired |
Procedure: Place frozen beef
tenderloin steaks on one side of rack in broiler pan; arrange potatoes on other
side. Combine oil, basil and pepper. Brush potatoes with seasoned oil. Place
pan under broiler so surface of meat is 5 to 6 inches from heat. Broil steaks
and potatoes 17 to 22 minutes for rare to medium and until potatoes are tender,
turning steaks and potatoes once. Remove steaks and potatoes to warm platter.
Sprinkle cheese over potatoes. Season with salt, if desired. 4
servings.
